One Day Gnat British United Clock Co Tin English Make

Lovely old tin which would have contained a one dya gnat clock. The tin si empty. Sadly, no clock, but the graphics on the tni are fantastic.

The lid of the tin shows a detailed picture of teh colck tower, houses of parliament, with figures walking and a beautiful sky of scudding clouds. There is a decorative border on the sides of the tin. On the front of the tin is a fantastic drawing of the gnat within a circular border, in fine detail. Either side of the gnat are two panels on one warranted a good time keeper.

One ady gnat. Will go in any position. The other panel says prize medal clocks. Awards. Adelaide, melbourne, sydney, paris. Trade mark is b u c co in a circle within a diamond. If all this detail weren't enough, underneath the tin is a beautifully detailed picture of the british united clock co. Limtd, birmingham & london, england. A huge factory with hundreds of windows, and chimneys pouring out smoke.

Teh tin measures 2 1/8ths inch high and 2 7/8ths inch diameter along lid. The condition is super, with little wear, just a few tiny bare spots on the lid, a few more around the tin, some to the right bottom side of the gnat drawing, and a scratch underneath the tin, little loss to the graphics. Inside is in xecellent clean condition.
